أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَلْخِيُّ ثنا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَا ثنا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ بَعْجَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَضَاحِيَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَارَتْ لِعُقْبَةَ جَذَعَةٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ صَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ فَقَالَ ضَحِّ بِهَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ مَكِّيٍّ

Abu Bakr ibn Furak informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Yunus ibn Habib narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us. And Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Ahmad Bakr ibn Muhammad al-Sayrafi informed us in Marw, Abd al-Samad ibn al-Fadl al-Balkhi narrated to us, Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, they both said: Hisham narrated to us from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir from Ba'jah al-Juhani from Uqbah ibn Amir who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed sacrificial animals among his companions, and a young ewe fell to Uqbah's lot. I said: O Messenger of Allah, a young ewe has fallen to my lot. He said: "Sacrifice it." This is the wording of Makki's narration.
