أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ النَّضْرِ الْحَرَشِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ؓ أَنَّ خَالَهُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ بْنَ نِيَارٍ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ اللَّحْمُ فِيهِ مَكْرُوهٌ وَإِنِّي عَجَّلْتُ نَسِيكَتِي لِأُطْعِمَ أَهْلِي وَجِيرَانِي وَأَهْلَ دَارِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَعِدْ نُسُكًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ عِنْدِي عَنَاقًا لَهِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ شَاتَيْ لَحْمٍ فَقَالَ هِيَ خَيْرُ نَسِيكَتِكَ وَلَا تُجْزِي جَذَعَةٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Ali ibn Isa ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Amr ibn al-Nadr al-Harashi narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, from al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that his maternal uncle Abu Burdah ibn Niyar slaughtered before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had slaughtered. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is a day when meat is desired, and I hastened my sacrifice to feed my family, neighbors, and household." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Repeat a sacrifice." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a young goat that is better than two mature sheep." He said: "It is the best of your sacrifices, but a jadha'ah (young animal) will not suffice for anyone after you."
