أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ فَقَالَ مَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ حِنَّةٌ وَإِنِّي مَرَرْتُ بِمَسْجِدٍ لِبَنِي حَنِيفَةَ فَإِذَا هُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمُسَيْلِمَةَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِمْ عَبْدُ اللهِ فَجِيءَ بِهِمْ فَاسْتَتَابَهُمْ غَيْرَ ابْنِ النَّوَّاحَةِ قَالَ لَهُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنَّكَ رَسُولٌ لَضَرَبْتُ عُنُقَكَ فَأَنْتَ الْيَوْمَ لَسْتَ بِرَسُولٍ فَأَمَرَ قَرَظَةَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ فَضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ فِي السُّوقِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى ابْنِ النَّوَّاحَةِ قَتِيلًا بِالسُّوقِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Kathir narrated to us, Sufyan informed us from Abu Ishaq, from Harithah ibn Mudarrib, that he came to 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "There is no enmity between me and any of the Arabs, but I passed by a mosque of Banu Hanifah and found them believing in Musaylimah." So 'Abdullah sent for them and they were brought. He asked them to repent, and they did — except for Ibn al-Nawwahah. He said to him: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Were it not that you are a messenger, I would have struck off your neck.' But today you are not a messenger." So he ordered Qarazah ibn Ka'b, and he struck off his head.
