أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُصَرِّفُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْيَامِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ أنبأ أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ صَالَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَهْلَ نَجْرَانَ عَلَى أَلْفَيْ حُلَّةٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ كَمَا مَضَى قَالَ فِيهِ عَلَى أَنْ لَا تُهْدَمَ لَهُمْ بِيعَةٌ وَلَا يُخْرَجَ لَهُمْ قِسٌّ وَلَا يُفْتَنُونَ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثُوا حَدَثًا أَوْ يَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَا

Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Musarrif ibn 'Amr al-Yami narrated to us, Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Asbat ibn Nasr al-Hamdani narrated to us from Isma'il ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made a treaty with the people of Najran for two thousand garments. He mentioned the hadith as previously stated, saying in it: On the condition that no church of theirs would be demolished, no priest of theirs would be expelled, and they would not be persecuted for their religion, so long as they did not introduce any innovation or consume usury.
