وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَا بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنْ بَدْرٍ بَشِيرَيْنِ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ كَعْبَ بْنَ الْأَشْرَفِ قَالَ وَيْلَكَ أَحَقٌّ هَذَا؟ هَؤُلَاءِ مُلُوكُ الْعَرَبِ وَسَادَةُ النَّاسِ يَعْنِي قَتْلَى قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَجَعَلَ يَبْكِي عَلَى قَتْلَى قُرَيْشٍ وَيُحَرِّضُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us > Abu al-Abbas > Ahmad > Yunus > Ibn Ishaq > Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Hazm and Salih ibn Abi Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), when he finished with Badr, sent two bearers of good news to the people of Madinah — Zayd ibn Harithah and Abdullah ibn Rawahah. When this reached Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf, he said: "Woe to you! Is this true? These are the kings of the Arabs and the leaders of the people" — meaning the dead of Quraysh. Then he went out to Makkah and began weeping over the dead of Quraysh and inciting against the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
