الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us > Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hasan > Ibrahim ibn al-Husayn > Adam > Shu'bah > Abu al-Fayd, a man from the people of Sham, who said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jabir al-Ru'ayni narrating from his father that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) bid farewell to an army and walked with them. He said: "Praise be to Allah whose feet have become dusty in the way of Allah." It was said to him: "How have they become dusty when we only bid them farewell?" He said: "We equipped them, bid them farewell, and prayed for them."
