أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ وَابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُكْلَمُ أَحَدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَجُرْحُهُ يَثْعَبُ دَمًا اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ

Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yusuf informed us, from Abu Sa'id Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad al-Basri in Makkah, from al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Za'farani, from Sufyan ibn Uyaynah, from Abu al-Zinad and Ibn Ajlan, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: No one is wounded in the cause of Allah — and Allah knows best who is wounded in His cause — except that he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound gushing blood; its color is the color of blood, and its fragrance is the fragrance of musk.
