أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَاكِرٍ ثنا عَفَّانُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا هَمَّامٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا حُصَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ذَكْوَانَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلِّمْنِي عَمَلًا يَعْدِلُ الْجِهَادَ قَالَ لَا أَجِدُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَسْتَطِيعُ إِذَا خَرَجَ الْمُجَاهِدُ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَتَقُومَ وَلَا تَفْتُرَ وَتَصُومَ وَلَا تُفْطِرَ؟ قَالَ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّ فَرَسَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ يَسْتَنُّ فِي طُولِهِ فَيُكْتَبُ لَهُ حَسَنَاتٍ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ جَعْفَرٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us, from Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Amr al-Razzaz, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Shakir, from Affan; and Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani, from Affan, from Hammam, from Muhammad ibn Juhadah, that Abu Husayn narrated to him, that Dhakwan narrated to him, that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me a deed equal to jihad. He said: I cannot find one. Then he said: Can you, when the warrior goes out, enter the mosque and stand in prayer without tiring and fast without breaking your fast? He said: I cannot do that. Abu Hurayrah said: The horse of the warrior roams freely on its tether, and good deeds are written for him. This is the wording of Ja'far's narration.
