أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادٌ ثنا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ النُّعْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُقَرِّنٍ ؓ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا لَمْ يُقَاتِلْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ أَخَّرَ الْقِتَالَ حَتَّى تَزُولَ الشَّمْسُ وَتَهُبَّ الرِّيَاحُ وَيَنْزِلَ النَّصْرُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, from Muhammad ibn Bakr, from Abu Dawud, from Musa ibn Isma'il, from Hammad, from Abu Imran al-Jawni, from Alqamah ibn Abdullah al-Muzani, from Ma'qil ibn Yasar, that al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) — when he did not fight at the beginning of the day, he would delay the fighting until the sun declined, the winds blew, and divine support descended.
