الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Muhammad al-Hasan bin Ali al-Mu'ammal al-Masarjisi informed us... from Abu al-Bakhtari, who said: Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) prepared some food and invited a group of his companions. A beggar came, and a man took some of the food and handed it to him. Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Leave it; you were invited to eat. The man felt embarrassed. When they finished, Salman said: Perhaps what I said troubled you? He said: Indeed, by Allah, you belittled me. He said: What would you have me do - that the reward goes to me and the sin falls on you? And he narrated the meaning of it.
