أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَنَّهَا أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تُوصِيَ ثُمَّ أَخَّرَتْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى أَنْ تُصْبِحَ فَهَلَكَتْ وَقَدْ كَانَتْ هَمَّتْ بِعِتْقٍ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقُلْتُ لِلْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَيَنْفَعُهَا أَنْ أُعْتِقَ عَنْهَا؟ فَقَالَ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ إِنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أُمِّي هَلَكَتْ فَهَلْ يَنْفَعُهَا أَنْ أُعْتِقَ عَنْهَا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَعَمْ أَعْتِقْ عَنْهَا هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ وَرَوَاهُ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْسَلًا بِبَعْضِ مَعْنَاهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi 'Amrah al-Ansari narrated from his mother that she intended to make a bequest but delayed it until morning, and she died. She had intended to free slaves. Abd al-Rahman said: 'I asked al-Qasim ibn Muhammad: Will it benefit her if I free slaves on her behalf?' Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad said: 'Sa'd ibn Ubadah said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): My mother has died. Will it benefit her if I free slaves on her behalf?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Yes, free slaves on her behalf.' This is mursal, and Hisham ibn Hassan narrated it from al-Hasan from the Prophet (peace be upon him) as mursal with a similar meaning.
