أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى أنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي هِنْدَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَخٍ لِي مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ لِمَنْ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِوَلَدِ الْمُلَاعَنَةِ؟ فَقَالَ قَضَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأُمِّهِ قَالَ هِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ أَبِيهِ وَمَنْزِلَةِ أُمِّهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn Ali al-Asbahani informed us with his chain from Ibn al-Mubarak from Sufyan from Dawud ibn Abi Hind: Abdullah ibn Ubayd al-Ansari narrated to me saying: 'I wrote to a brother of mine from Banu Zurayq asking who the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) assigned the child of li'an to.' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah assigned him to his mother, saying she takes the place of both his father and mother.'
