أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ ثنا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ جَعَلَهُ الَّذِي قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُهُ خَلِيلًا يَعْنِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ ؓ جَعَلَ الْجَدَّ أَبًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Ahmad ibn Salman the jurist narrated to us: Ishaq ibn al-Hasan narrated to us: Abu Salamah narrated to us: Wuhayb narrated to us: Ayyub narrated from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas who said: The one to whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'If I were to take a close friend, I would have taken him as my close friend' - meaning Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) - he treated the grandfather as a father in inheritance.
