أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ جِبْرِيلَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَجُلٌ قَالَ إِنَّ عِنْدِي مِيرَاثَ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَزْدِ وَلَسْتُ أَجِدُ أَزْدِيًّا أَدْفَعُهُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَالْتَمِسْ رَجُلًا أَزْدِيًّا حَوْلًا قَالَ فَأَتَاهُ بَعْدَ الْحَوْلِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَمْ أَجِدْ أَزْدِيًّا أَدْفَعُهُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَانْطَلِقْ فَانْظُرْ أَوَّلَ خُزَاعِيٍّ تَلْقَاهُ فَادْفَعْهُ إِلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ عَلِيَّ بِالرِّجَلِ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ قَالَ انْظُرْ أَكْبَرَ خُزَاعَةَ فَادْفَعْهُ جِبْرِيلُ بْنُ أَحْمَرَ هُوَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْأَحْمَرِيُّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Sa'id al-Kindi narrated to us: al-Muharibi narrated from Jibril ibn Ahmar from Abdullah ibn Buraydah from his father who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: 'I have the inheritance of a man from al-Azd, and I cannot find anyone from al-Azd to give it to.' He said: 'Go and search for an Azdi man for a year.' He came after a year and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I could not find an Azdi man to give it to.' He said: 'Go and look for the first Khuza'i you meet and give it to him.' When he turned to leave, the Prophet said: 'Bring the man back.' When he returned, he said: 'Look for the chief of Khuza'ah and give it to him.' Jibril ibn Ahmar is Abu Bakr al-Ahmari.
