أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ عُمَرُ لَا يَرِثُ الْقَاتِلُ خَطَأً وَلَا عَمْدًا

Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami informed us: Ali ibn Umar the hafiz narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Hamdawayh al-Marwazi narrated to us: Mahmud ibn Adam narrated to us: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated from Mutarrif from al-Sha'bi who said: Umar said: The killer does not inherit, whether the killing was accidental or intentional.
