أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْمُحَمَّدَآبَاذِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّعْدِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا بِيَدِهِ وَرُئِيَ فِي وَجْهِهِ شِدَّةُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا صَلَّى فَإِنَّمَا يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِذَا بَصَقَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ أَوْ يَفْعَلْ هَكَذَا ثُمَّ بَزَقَ فِي ثَوْبِهِ وَدَلَكَ بَعْضَهُ بِبَعْضٍ قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَأَرَانَا حُمَيْدٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw phlegm on the qiblah wall of the mosque, scraped it off with his hand, and the displeasure was visible on his face. He said: "When a servant prays, he is in private conversation with his Lord. So when one of you spits, let him spit to his left, or under his feet, or do this" — then he spat in his garment and rubbed part of it with the other part.
