حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا فَرَعَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَالْفَرَعُ كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَذْبَحُونَ أَوَّلَ نِتَاجٍ يَكُونُ لَهُمْ وَالْعَتِيرَةُ ذَبِيحَةُ رَجَبٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Ma'mar told us: Ibn Shihab told us, from Ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no fara' and no 'atirah." Ibn Shihab said: The fara' was that the people of pre-Islamic ignorance used to slaughter the first offspring born to them, and the 'atirah was a sacrifice offered in the month of Rajab.
