حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَسْرِقُ السَّارِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَالتَّوْبَةُ مَعْرُوضَةٌ بَعْدُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "The fornicator does not commit fornication while he is a believer, nor does the thief steal while he is a believer, nor does the wine-drinker drink wine while he is a believer; yet repentance remains open afterward."
