Yahya narrated to us, from Isma'il — meaning Ibn Abi Khalid — who said: Ziyad narrated to us — meaning the freedman of Banu Makhzum — from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: 'We are the last [to come], yet the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. The first group of my nation to enter Paradise will have the form of each man among them like the moon on the night it is full; then those who follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky in radiance; then after that they will be in [varying] ranks.'
