حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هِلاَلاً الْمُزَنِيَّ أَوْ الْمَازِنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةُ السَّوْدَاءُ دَوَاءٌ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَالسَّامُ الْمَوْتُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, who said: I heard Hilal al-Muzani, or al-Mazini, narrate from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: 'This black seed is a remedy' — Shu'bah said: or he said 'a cure — for every disease except death (al-sam).' Qatadah said: al-sam means death.
