حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَاسْتَنْجَى ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ.

Hajjaj told us: Sharik informed us, from Ibrahim ibn Jarir, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the place of relieving himself, he would call for water, cleanse himself with it, then wipe his hand on the ground, then perform ablution.
