حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَلْبُ الشَّيْخِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ عَلَى جَمْعِ الْمَالِ وَطُولِ الْحَيَاةِ.

Waki' narrated to us, who said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The heart of an old man remains young in its love for two things: accumulating wealth and longing for a long life."
