حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ يُضَاعَفُ الْحَسَنَةُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ إِلَى مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ يَدَعُ طَعَامَهُ وَشَهْوَتَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ لِقَاءِ رَبِّهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, who said: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Every deed of the son of Adam is multiplied; a good deed receives ten times its like, up to seven hundred times, to as much as Allah wills. Allah the Mighty and Sublime said: 'Except fasting, for it is for Me, and I will reward it. He leaves his food and his desires for My sake.' The fasting person has two moments of joy: joy when he breaks his fast and joy when he meets his Lord. And the breath of the fasting person is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. Fasting is a shield. Fasting is a shield."
