حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى وَرُبَّمَا ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَتَقَرَّبُ الْعَبْدُ إِلَيَّ شِبْرًا إِلَّا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا وَلَا يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ ذِرَاعًا إِلَّا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ بَاعًا أَوْ بُوعًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya narrated to us, from Sulaiman al-Taimi, from Anas, from Abu Hurairah - Yahya said: and sometimes he attributed it to the Prophet (peace be upon him) - who said: "A servant does not draw near to Me by a span except that I draw near to him by a cubit, and he does not draw near to Me by a cubit except that I draw near to him by a fathom."
