حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقْرَءُونَ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا حَفَّتْ بِهِمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمْ الرَّحْمَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمْ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَسْلُكُ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ بِهِ الْعِلْمَ إِلَّا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ يُبْطِئُ بِهِ عَمَلُهُ لَا يُسْرِعُ بِهِ نَسَبُهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Sulayman al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "No people gather in one of the houses of Allah the Almighty, reciting, learning, and studying the Book of Allah the Almighty among themselves, except that the angels surround them, mercy envelops them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him. And no man treads a path seeking knowledge except that Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise. And whoever is slowed down by his deeds will not be hastened by his lineage."
