حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ فَرَاهِيجَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ مَا كَانَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا الْأَسْوَدَانِ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Dawud ibn Farahij informed me, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: We had no food during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) except the two black things - dates and water.
