حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَرَصَتْ نَمْلَةٌ نَبِيًّا مِنْ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ فَأَمَرَ بِقَرْيَةِ النَّمْلِ فَأُحْرِقَتْ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ فِي أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ أَهْلَكْتَ أُمَّةً مِنْ الْأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Attab narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah informed us, he said: Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri who said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman informed me that Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "An ant stung a prophet from among the prophets, so he ordered the ant colony to be burned. Then Allah the Almighty revealed to him: 'Because an ant stung you, you destroyed an entire nation that glorifies (Allah)?'"
