حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو ثِفَالٍ الْمُرِّيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْجَذَعُ مِنْ الضَّأْنِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ السَّيِّدِ مِنْ الْمَعْزِ قَالَ دَاوُدُ السَّيِّدُ الْجَلِيلُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Attab narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Dawud ibn Qays informed us, he said: Abu Thifal al-Murri narrated to me, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "A jadha'ah (six-month-old) sheep is better (for sacrifice) than a sayyid (fully grown) goat." Dawud said: "Al-sayyid means the fully grown."
