حَدَّثَنَا هَوْذَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ خِلَاسٍ وَمُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا صَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمًا فَنَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ.

Hawdhah narrated to us, he said: 'Awf narrated to us, from Khilas and Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), and from al-Hasan, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "If one of you is fasting and forgets and eats and drinks, let him complete his fast, for it was Allah who fed him and gave him drink."
