حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَدَعَنَّ النَّاسُ فَخْرَهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَوْ لَيَكُونَنَّ أَبْغَضَ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ الْخَنَافِسِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'People must stop boasting about their ancestors from the pre-Islamic era, or they will be more despicable to Allah the Almighty than the dung beetles.'
