حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْعَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ فَقَالَ أَنَا وَالَّذِينَ مَعِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ عَلَى الْأَثَرِ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ عَلَى الْأَثَرِ ثُمَّ كَأَنَّهُ رَفَضَ مَنْ بَقِيَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked: "Which people are the best?" He said: "I and those who are with me, then those who follow them, then those who follow them." Then it was as if he dismissed those who remained.
