حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا لَمْ تَجْتَبُوا دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ وَهَلْ تَرَى ذَلِكَ كَائِنًا يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ عَنْ قَوْلِ الصَّادِقِ الْمَصْدُوقِ قَالُوا وَعَمَّ ذَاكَ قَالَ تُنْتَهَكُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ وَذِمَّةُ رَسُولِهِ فَيَشُدُّ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ فَيَمْنَعُونَ مَا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ لَيَكُونَنَّ مَرَّتَيْنِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah used to say: "How will you be when you can no longer collect a dinar or a dirham?" It was said to him: "Do you see that happening, O Abu Hurayrah?" He said: "By the One in Whose hand is Abu Hurayrah's soul, it is from the words of the truthful and believed one." They said: "Why will that be?" He said: "The covenant of Allah and the covenant of His Messenger will be violated, and Allah will harden the hearts of the people of the covenant so they will withhold what is in their hands. By the One in Whose hand is Abu Hurayrah's soul, it will happen" - twice.
