حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصَى سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرَ قَالَ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمْنَحَكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَسْأَلُهُنَّ الرَّحْمَنَ تَرْغَبُ إِلَيْهِ فِيهِنَّ وَتَدْعُوَ بِهِنَّ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِحَّةَ إِيمَانٍ وَإِيمَانًا فِي خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ وَنَجَاحًا يَتْبَعُهُ فَلَاحٌ يَعْنِي وَرَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةً وَمَغْفِرَةً مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانًا قَالَ أَبِي وَهُنَّ مَرْفُوعَةٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ يَتْبَعُهُ فَلَاحٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) advised Salman al-Khayr saying: The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) wishes to grant you words that you may ask the Most Merciful, turn to Him with them, and supplicate with them day and night. He said: 'O Allah, I ask You for soundness of faith, faith accompanied by good character, and success followed by prosperity — meaning: and mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and Your pleasure.' His father said: And these are recorded as elevated (marfu') in the book: 'followed by prosperity, mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and pleasure.'
