حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَصْرَمَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ أَوْ دِرْهَمَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيَّتَانِ صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated that Buraid bin Asram said: I heard `Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) say: A man of Ahlus-Suffah died and left behind two dinars or two dirhams. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: `Two brands of iron; offer the funeral prayer for your companion.`
