الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'While a man was walking, he became very thirsty. He found a well, went down into it, drank, and came out. Then he found a dog panting and eating the moist earth from thirst. The man said: This dog is as thirsty as I was. He went back down into the well, filled his shoe with water, held it in his mouth, climbed out, and gave the dog to drink. Allah appreciated his deed and forgave him.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is there a reward for us in serving animals?' He said: 'There is a reward for (serving) every living being.'
