حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّ الْعَقْلَ مِيرَاثٌ بَيْنَ وَرَثَةِ الْقَتِيلِ عَلَى فَرَائِضِهِمْ.

Abu Sa'id told us: Muhammad ibn Rashid told us: Sulayman ibn Musa told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled that the blood-money is inherited among the heirs of the slain according to their shares of inheritance.
