حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبِكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ يَقُولُهَا قَالَ قُلْنَا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَحْسَنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub told us - I heard him narrating, meaning his father, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, from Abdullah ibn Amr, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said in a gathering: Shall I not tell you who is dearest to me and who will be seated closest to me on the Day of Resurrection? He said it three times. We said: Yes indeed, O Messenger of Allah. He said: The best of you in character.
