Waki' narrated from Sufyan from Abdullah ibn Hasan from his maternal uncle Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Talhah from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is attacked for his wealth without right and is killed defending it, he is a martyr." Waki' narrated from Khalifah ibn Khayyat from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave a sermon while leaning his back against the Ka'bah - and he mentioned it.
