حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ بِالتَّمْرِ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا.

Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from az-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling fruit still on the tree in exchange for dried dates, and forbade selling fruit before its soundness becomes apparent.
