حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا يَقُولُ إِنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُهُ فِيهِ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهِ.

Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us: I heard Nafi' saying that Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should make his brother get up from his place and then take his place. So I - meaning Ibn Jurayj - asked him: On the day of Friday? He said: On the day of Friday and other days.
