حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَجْلَى الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحِجَازِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا ظَهَرَ عَلَى خَيْبَرَ أَرَادَ إِخْرَاجَ الْيَهُودِ مِنْهَا وَكَانَتْ الْأَرْضُ حِينَ ظَهَرَ عَلَيْهَا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى وَلِرَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَرَادَ إِخْرَاجَ الْيَهُودِ مِنْهَا فَسَأَلَتْ الْيَهُودُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُقِرَّهُمْ بِهَا عَلَى أَنْ يَكْفُوا عَمَلَهَا وَلَهُمْ نِصْفُ الثَّمَرِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُقِرُّكُمْ بِهَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مَا شِئْنَا فَقَرُّوا بِهَا حَتَّى أَجْلَاهُمْ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى تَيْمَاءَ وَأَرِيحَاءَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us: Musa ibn Uqbah told me, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that Umar ibn al-Khattab exiled the Jews and Christians from the land of the Hijaz. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he prevailed over Khaybar, intended to expel the Jews from it - the land, when he prevailed over it, having become the property of Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and of the Muslims - so he intended to expel the Jews from it, but the Jews asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to let them remain there on condition that they would tend to its cultivation, having half of its produce. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: We will let you remain there on that basis for as long as we wish. So they remained there until Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, exiled them to Tayma and Ariha.
