حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ الْحَيِّ.

Ya'qub told us: Asim ibn Muhammad told us, from his brother Umar ibn Muhammad, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The deceased is punished by the weeping of the living.'
