Yunus told us, Hammad - that is, Ibn Zayd - told me, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Abdullah, raising it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "A man should not undercut the sale of his brother, nor propose marriage except with his permission" - or he said: "unless he gives him permission."
