حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَجِئْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَتَرَكْتُ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلًا مِنْ كِنْدَةَ فَجَاءَ الْكِنْدِيُّ مُرَوَّعًا فَقُلْتُ مَا وَرَاءَكَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ آنِفًا فَقَالَ أَحْلِفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ احْلِفْ بِرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَحْلِفْ بِأَبِيكَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'ba told us, from Mansur, from Sa'd ibn Ubayda, who said: I was sitting with Abdullah ibn Umar, then I went to Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and left a man from Kinda with him. Then the man from Kinda came back frightened, and I said, "What happened?" He said: "A man came to Abdullah ibn Umar just now and said, 'I swear by the Ka'ba,' so he said, 'Swear by the Lord of the Ka'ba, for Umar used to swear by his father, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: Do not swear by your father, for whoever swears by other than Allah has associated partners with Allah.'"
