حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ.

Husayn told us, from Jarir, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about the lizard, and he said: "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
