حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ سَمِعْتُ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ كُهَيْلٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ شَجَرَةً يُنْتَفَعُ بِهَا مِثْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِ هِيَ الَّتِي لَا يُنْفَضُ وَرَقُهَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ فَفَرِقْتُ مِنْ عُمَرَ ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ بَعْدُ يَقُولُ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aswad told us, Sharik told us: I heard Salamah b. Kuhayl relate, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I know a tree from which benefit is derived, like the believer - it is the one whose leaves do not fall." Ibn Umar said: "I wanted to say it is the date-palm, but I feared to speak before Umar; then I later heard him say it is the date-palm."
