حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَسْلَمَ غَيْلَانُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ وَتَحْتَهُ عَشَرُ نِسْوَةٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَأَسْلَمْنَ مَعَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَخْتَارَ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid told us, Sa'id ibn Abi Arubah informed us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, who said: Ghaylan ibn Salamah al-Thaqafi embraced Islam while he had ten wives from the pre-Islamic era, and they embraced Islam with him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered him to choose four of them.
