حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلَا يُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Uqbah ibn Hurayth: I heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek it in the last ten [nights]" - meaning the Night of Decree - "and if one of you is weak or unable, let him not fail to seek it in the remaining seven."
