حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْكَعْبَيْنِ.

Bahz ibn Asad Abu al-Aswad told us, Shu'bah told us, Abd Allah ibn Dinar told us: I heard Abd Allah ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not find sandals, let him wear khuffs, and let him cut them from the ankles."
