الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Abu Awanah told us, Simak ibn Harb told us, from Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, who said: Abd Allah ibn Umar entered upon Abd Allah ibn Amir to visit him while sick, and he [Ibn Amir] said: "What is wrong with you, that you do not pray for me?" He said: "Indeed I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not accept a prayer without purification, nor charity from misappropriated goods' - and you were governor over Basrah" - meaning as a governor.
